Fantasy Friday: week 27 review

Some slightly depressing news this week, Pies Fantasy Football fans. While scouring the teams to see who's had a good week and who's had a bad week, I noticed that Tommy (that's Tommy our champion elect, fantasy football manager extraordinaire, the man everyone is trying - and failing miserably - to catch up) is sitting in 809th place in the overall game. Where that leaves the rest of us I didn't dare to look, but hang your heads in shame!

Fantasy Friday: week 26 review

The big controversy in the Pies Fantasy Football League this week is the news that Abney Park Rangers will not be thrown out of the league as had been reported. Ashley Norris' bottom-of-the-table side had been charged by the Pies FA amid rumours that some or all of their players might not have been eligible to score points. It has now emerged that all the players were eligible to score points, but hadn't done so! This week's league table after the jump.

Good week for... Second-placed Matt M, who broke the unwritten rule that nobody closes the gap on Tommy by scoring 11 points, and James who is joint-fourth after top-scoring with 12 points.

Bad week for... Pies editor Ollie saw the sizeable gap between Modbury Juniors in fourth and the chasing pack obliterated after scoring just one point.

Fantasy Friday: week 25 review

With only two Premiership matches taking place this week there was about as much scoring in the Pies Fantasy Football League as a night on the pull with Cliff Richard.
