THE VOTE Can Barcelona come back against Liverpool?
"The danger for Liverpool is if they think they have already done the hard work by winning in Spain… We are the defending European champions and we will not relinquish the trophy without a fight." Ronaldinho
As much as I dislike some of Barca's stars, I would never write off a team containing Ronaldinho, Eto'o (the key), Messi and Deco. I have no doubt that Barca can beat Liverpool at Anfield, as Man Yoo did on Saturday – after all, the Catalans are only one goal behind. If Barca score first tonight, Rafa Benitez will be faced with the age-old dilemma: stick or twist? I predict a 2-1 Barca scoreline at 90 minutes, with Liverpool surviving extra time to go through on penalties (Pepe Reina is good at those), after an almighty scare. What do you reckon?

2-1 to Barca and Extra time is pretty wishful thinking. Liverpool have one of the best european home records going, and the team will be desperate to wipe the memory of united's win on saturday (All thanks to the heroics of Van der Sar) by showing their big game credentials and rounding off this tie with a 2-0 win. Barca haven't got a prayer.

Not wishful thinking Jim (I really hope Liverpoool go through), just my honest prediction. With Eto'o back in Barca's team, I think Liverpool have to be very careful. Although 'Pool's home record is great, I concede. Thanks for your comment.

Barca need to score at least 2 which i dont think will happen with Carragher at the back. Not very fast, but probably the most committed and passionate player in the premiership.
Van Der Sar made some great saves on saturday, which i dont think valdez is up to.

With Eto'o, Messi, Deco and Ronydinho they can give anyone a whoopin. When you play small clubs though they tend to shut up shop. Rafa will have them well organised and I can see lfc grinding out a scrappy result. I don't think Barca have the balls I hope they prove me wrong.

For the 10 mins either side of their goal they looked superb going forward and Eto'o is going to be a big plus for Barca - but he isn't going to help them shore up their defence which let them down so magnificently in the first leg.
Liverpool to go through by the same score again: 2-1.
