One to watch: Tom Huddlestone, Spurs

2527 Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone will be 20 on 28th Dec this year. For now though, he's the most exciting English teenager since Wayne Rooney. Given how much he's developed since the departure of Michael Carrick to Old Trafford, I don't see any reason why he won't graduate to the senior England squad in 2007.

Huddlestone is 6ft2in and weighs 16 stone. In other words, he's a fricking monster, physically more imposing even than Michael Essien. Huddlestone can tackle, pass and score. In fact, there's not much he can't do. Spurs fans don't need to be told how scarily good he is, but for the rest of us it's a joy to discover what he's capable of.
