George Best Gets On The Money

Ulster Bank have decided to honour Northern Ireland's most famous son. They've decided to introduce a limited edition £5 note in honour of 60s soccer legend (and general booze hound lothario) George Best. The commemorative fiver will be limited to a run of one million notes and will be available through Ulster Bank branches across Northern Ireland and by mail order for fans worldwide.

If you want one, you'll have to wait until November 27th which marks the one year anniversary of Best's snuffing of the lid. You'll be able to pick one up in any Ulster Bank branch and for those of you who aren't local to one, a website will be online from November 13th to purchase one mail order. The site isn't yet online, but you'll be able to find it nearer the time at GeorgeBestFive.
