Fake Bake Sparkle Babe Lip Gloss
Fake Bake don't just make self tan you know. The folks who've been know to turn Britney into a bronzed goddess (pre-Federline) also do a nice line in sparkly lip glosses. I gave the 'golden babe' shade a go and found it's a great way of enhancing a tan, adding shimmer over the top of more matte colours or lightening up those dark lippies you got free with a magazine when you were 14 and have never worn (seriously, throw them away).
'Golden Babe' smells faintly of something sweet and slightly fruity (peaches and cream, maybe) and has a texture that's similar to a juicy tube...
In fact, this gloss is not unlike Lancome's bestseller in many ways (except cost - it's about half the price of a juicy tube). It comes in a squeezy tube, is full of sparkle and sheer colour, and has a sticky texture that clings to the lips for longer than a lot of cheap alternatives. Unfortunately, like most glosses, you do have to keep pulling your hair off your lips if you wear it loose. Still, a girl can't have everything!
I'll definitely be stashing this in my holiday kit for a bit of a subtle glow. As an added extra, the sparkle that's left on your fingertips after applying it is perfect for rubbing over your collarbones to add a bit of shimmer - and who doesn't love a multi-purpose produce when there's a 20kg baggage limit? You need to leave space for that duty free perfume, remember!
